Drunk Driver Crossed Over Yellow Line Into Wrong Lane: Cops
She was arrested in Mattituck, police say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A Cutchogue woman was cuffed after she was caught driving drunk in Mattituck, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Kelli Thompson, 24, was arrested on Thursday at 8 p.m. on Sound Avenue in Mattituck and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Thompson was driving west on Sound Avenue in Mattituck with a tail light and license plate light out, police said.

Thompson was observed crossing over the double yellow line into the eastbound lane, police said.
Thompson was stopped on Sound Avenue in the vicinity of Bergen Avenue and found to be intoxicated while operating her vehicle, police said.

Thompson was placed under arrest and transported back to Southold Town Police headquarters for processing where she was held pending arraignment, police said.
