Drunk Driver In Head-On Crash On Fishers Island: Cops
No injuries were reported, police say.

FISHERS ISLAND, NY — A Fishers Island woman was charged with driving drunk after a head-on crash, police said.
According to New York State Police, on June 29 at 10:55 p.m., Margaret Chaves, 48, was involved in the crash, with no injuries, on Equestrian Avenue on Fishers Island.
Upon further investigation Chaves was found to be intoxicated, police said.

Chaves was transported to New York State Police Barracks Fishers Island where she provided a breath sample of .16% BAC, police said.
Chaves is due back in Southold Town Justice Court on July 13, police said.
