Drunk Driver Nabbed In Greenport: Cops
The unlicensed driver was pulled over on Route 25, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — A Greenport man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk, police said.
Southold Town Police said Eswin O. Perez, 34, was arrested on Thursday at 2:24 p.m. on Route 25 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, failing to maintain lane and driving unlicensed, police said.
Perez was seen driving on the shoulder of the roadway on Route 25 in Greenport; he was stopped and after an investigation, was found to be intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested, transported to Southold Police headquarters, processed and held for a morning arraignment, police said.
