Drunk, 'Erratic' Driver Nabbed in Mattituck: Police
A call came in about an "erratic" driver on Sound Avenue, police said.
MATTITUCK, NY — A Greenport man was apprehended after driving drunk in Mattituck, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Jose Garcia-Moran, 25, was arrested on Monday at 4:13 p.m. on Wickham Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Southold Town Police received a call of an erratic driver on Sound Avenue; Garcia-Moran was located by a Southold Town Police officer, stopped, and was found to be driving drunk, police said.

Garcia-Moran was placed under arrest and transported back to Southold Town Police headquarters, police said.
