East End Natives Receive Scholarships to Attend SUNY Oneonta

Two East End residents have have received scholarships to attend SUNY Oneonta for the Fall 2015 semester.

Roy Lebkuecher of Laurel, is the recipient of the Oneonta Auxiliary Services Merit Scholarship.

The college’s award of $2000 annually will help Lebkuecher to pursue a bachelor’s degree beginning next semester.

Lebkuecher, who plans to major in Meteorology, is a graduate of Mattituck High School.

Nicholas Berglin of Hampton Bays, is the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship.

The college’s award of $6470 annually will help Berglin to pursue a bachelor’s degree beginning next semester.

Berglin, who plans to major in Dietetics, is a graduate of Hampton Bays Secondary School.
