PECONIC, NY — An economic forum unfolds Wednesday in Peconic, where guests can gather to discuss strategies to grow their businesses.

The event, held at the Raphael Vineyard and Winery, located at 39390 Main Road in Peconic, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is hosted by Southold's Economic Development Committee.

A presentation, "How Guerrilla Marketing Can Grow Your Business," will be led by Bernie Ryba and Rita Wackett of the NY Small Business Development Center at SUNY Stony Brook.

Guerrilla marketing is a strategy that uses unconventional tactics to attract and delight customers, organizers said.

Next, a panel discussion, "The State of Local Business," will be held. Panelists include Rudy Bruer, advisor for Ameriprise Financial Services; Southold Town Clerk Denis Noncarrow; Jennifer Del Vaglio, general manager of East End Pool King; Steve Isaacs, owner of the Harvest Inn; and Roger Satnick, owner of Satnick Jewelers.

The event is free. Guests can participate in a discussion to discover new and effective marketing strategies; listen to and participate in a panel discussion with local leaders, and network with other Southold Town professionals.
