7:30 pm presentation and announcements; Doors open at 7 pm for coffee and conversationOnce an invasive plant or animal species has established itself, early detection and eradication is the most effective way to reduce this ever-present threat to our native plants and ecosystems. This presentation will explain how Audubon members or anyone can be an effective and important part of the effort coordinated by the Long Island Invasive Species Management Area (LIISMA).

Join us for an evening with botanist Steve Young,  the coordinator of LIISMA and  the chief botanist of the New York Natural Heritage Program .
