Port of Egypt Marine (62300 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971, 41.04.34 N and 72.24.16 W, [631] 765-2445 www.poemarine.com) hosts “Artists and Carafe” art classes led by local artist Rita Rooney (www.artistsandcarafes.com) on May 5 with an afternoon class from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and an evening class from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $40 per person for tutorial and materials in a class of up to 20 people who are asked to bring their own beverage of choice.
