REGISTER NOW: Paddle Smart course for canoeists and kayakers

Canoeists and kayakers are also boaters.  Now there is a course available to address the unique needs of this group.  PADDLE SPORTS AMERICA is an exciting safety course designed to attract novice paddle enthusiasts.  The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 18-08 presents this four-hour course.  Topics include:  Know Your Paddle Craft, Before You Get Underway, Operating Your Boat Safely, The Legal Requirements of Boating and Boating Emergencies.  There is a maximum of 20 participants for this course.

June 19 and 21

7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Cost:  $20 per person (includes textbook and course completion certificate)
