Firefighters Quickly Extinguished Southold Brush Fire

No injuries were reported in the fire.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a brush fire that broke out in Southold on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Southold Fire Department.

The department responded to a brush fire at shortly before 3 p.m.

The fire started in the neighbors yard and quickly spread pass a fence to his neighbors.

Water was being put on the fire by the neighbor and when the trucks arrived was quickly extinguished by the local firefighters

No injuries were reported.
