Firefighters Respond to Garage Blaze in Mattituck

MATTITUCK, NY - Firefighters responded to a garage fire on Peconic Bay Boulevard in Mattituck early Friday, police said.
The fire broke out at 2:35 a.m.; Southold Town Police and the Mattituck Fire Department responded, police said. The Mattituck Fire Department extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown; Suffolk County's arson division was notified and responded, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
