Free Breakfast At Wendy's Deli Honors 9/11 Heroes' Service
"We need to come together and make this a day of positive impact on our country." — Wendy Zuhoski, owner of Wendy's Deli in Mattituck.

NORTH FORK, NY — The huge-hearted owner of Wendy's Deli in Mattituck is giving back, yet again — offering a free breakfast to 9/11 responders.
"Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks," Zuhoski wrote on social media. "It is a time to remember the courage of so many."
She added: "As Americans, we still remember — and we must never forget. First responders, fire departments, police departments, recovery workers, military personnel, dispatchers, veterans, health care workers, EMS and anyone who rose in service in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on America will be honored by us today," she said. "Please stop in for a free breakfast. We need to come together and make this a day of positive impact on our country."
