Free Bridal Expo Coming to Greenport's Brecknock Hall

GREENPORT, NY — Brides will soon have a chance to plan their weddings at one of the most beautiful spaces on the North Fork.

Brecknock Hall is set to to host the first ever, free Brecknock Bridal Boutique Wedding Showcase on Saturday, April 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests planning weddings, celebrations and events are invited; the showcase will feature businesses that have donated to Peconic Landing's annual Veterans Day Wedding Giveback, where a deserving couple is chosen to receive the wedding of their dreams at the iconic and magnificent Brecknock Hall.

"The North Fork wedding industry is exceptional — all of these vendors know how to come together to deliver a truly spectacular day for the special couple," said Valerie Tirelli-Hallock, sales and events coordinator for Brecknock Hall. "These vendors have the knowledge and creative know-how to take your vision and run with it, working within your budget to deliver first-rate services."

Brides, grooms, families, and friends will be afforded the chance to have the opportunity to meet a full range of wedding planning professionals including area photographers, florists, make-up artists, hair stylists, caterers and more. Select vendors will be offering incentives to couples who book services during the showcase, a release said.

The event will include wine and food samplings, raffles and a bridal fashion show, courtesy of North Fork Bridal Shoppe, at the top of every hour. Wedding favors will be on display, with photo booth, floral and dessert ideas presented throughout the event.
