GoFundMe: Southold Resident Raising Money For Volunteer Trip

Southold resident, Samantha Lynn, started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for a volunteer trip to South Africa.
According to her GoFundMe page, Lynn hopes to go to Cape Town, South Africa in June for a month to work at a hospital as a volunteer to provide medical care to underserved communities.

“It has always been a dream of mine to practice medicine in another country and this year that dream will come true,” Lynn writes on the GoFundMe page. “I am extremely passionate about helping others and giving them the best medical care possible.”
The goal, according to the page, is to raise a total of $2,500. So far, since the page was created in November, a total of $555 has been raised.
