Greenport High School Interim Principal to Step Down Due to 'Personal Circumstances'
District superintendent David Gamberg sent a memo with the news on Thursday.

Greenport School District Superintendent David Gamberg sent out a memo to the district on Thursday announcing that as a result of personal circumstances, current High School Interim Principal William Caulfield will be completing his time in Greenport.
As of Monday, April 13 Robert Feeney will rejoin the staff as the Interim Principal for an indefinite period of time.
“Our search for a permanent secondary principal is being finalized and, following a Board appointment, I will inform the staff of next steps regarding this position,” Gamberg said in the memo.

Gamberg also took the opportunity to thank each and every staff member for their dedication and patience as the district worked through the changes in school administration.
“The disruptions have not been easy, and your professionalism and support throughout this period of time have been most welcome and appreciated,” he wrote.
