Congratulations to the amazing student athletes who have made us all so proud!

GREENPORT, NY — Greenport High School students continue to make their hometown proud.
According to the criteria set forth by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Greenport High School was named a School of Distinction, said Joan Dinizio, who compiles the information and submits it seasonally to the NYSPHSAA for GHS.
Three times a year, in fall, winter and spring, Dinizio explained, varsity team GPAs are calculated and, if 75 percent or more of the team has a GPA of 90 percent or higher, they are given the distinction of of being a New York State Scholar Athlete team.
