Greenport Parade Of Lights Brings Holiday Cheer Saturday
The event also features carols by school children and a tree lighting at Mitchell Park.

GREENPORT, NY —Holiday fun awaits at the third annual Parade of Lights in Greenport Village Saturday, as Santa and Mrs. Claus wend their way through the village aboard a decorated fire truck.
In addition, the Merry Merfolk’s dory will be in attendance at the parade, which begins at 5 p.m. at Center Street and makes its way to the intersection of Main and Front Streets. Immediately after the parade join local school children in singing carols at the tree lighting in Mitchell Park and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate for extra holiday cheer.
The event is presented by the Village of Greenport and the Greenport Fire Department.
