Greenport Rec Program For Kids During Holiday Break
Kids will have a healthy outlet during their holiday break in Greenport.

GREENPORT, NY — Greenport kids will have a chance to play and exercise over the holiday break, thanks to a new recreational program offered by Greenport Schools and the Village of Greenport.
The school and the village are teaming up with services to "provide a safe, fun and inviting opportunity for children to come to the school during the December break to play in a supervised environment," a release from the district said. "The district and the village recognize the limited options for children in the district throughout the day, as well as the late December cold weather. Children will be encouraged to come, exercise through play, and be in a safe and positive environment among friends."
Elementary students will be in the small gym and secondary students will be in the big gym; the program will run December 26, 27, 28, and 29 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
