Greenport's 171st Annual Presidents' Day Parade Kicks Off Saturday

A beloved traditions kicks off again Saturday in the Village of Greenport, as crowds will flock to watch the annual Presidents’ Day Parade.

2016 will mark 171 years for parade, organized by the Greenport Fire Department — the event is well-loved and brings scores of fire departments from across Long Island to the village.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. at Greenport High School, wending its way down down Front Street before making a left on Main Street, a left on Center Street, and ending with clam chowder at the at Third Street Firehouse.
