My grandfather on my mom’s side {William E (Ernest) Reed} worked for the Delehanty Institute –{ & }- wrote a POLICEMAN’s MANUAL. ~ DELEHANTY INSTITUTE is in BROOKLYN, New York. I attended DELEHANTY HIGH SCHOOL in JAMAICA (Queens, New York) for my first two years of high school AND THEN DELEHANTY HIGH SCHOOL CLOSED. So I then attended St Francis Prep High School in Fresh Meadows, New York {NOT IN BROOKLYN. BISHOP REILLY HIGH SCHOOL changed-hands w/ ST FRANCIS PREP.} I rode the MTA {Metropolitan Transportation bus-line from 188th Street in Jamaica Estates -{ & }- every time I rode an MTA-bus w/ the digits-identifying the number of the bus as 3921, I EITHER RECEIVED A GRACIOUS REPLY-BACK in the stamped-addressed-envelope I supplied for my professionals' collection -OR- I had a great day -{!}- I graduated St Francis Prep in 1977.

I salute the Southold Town Police Department.

The three awarded officers are: RYAN CREIGHTON, WILLIAM BROWER, JOHN CROSSER, who were featured in a photo by TIM GANNON PHOTO as “Police Chief Martin Flatley {shown third from left} made promotion recommendations to the Southold Town Board” –{&}- the Southold Town Board “authorized several promotions within the {Southold} police department during its Tuesday meeting….”~ THANKSALATEA FOLKS -{ ! }-
