I recently learned that the 2009 "Star Trek" Captain (CHRIS PINE) is featured as the cover-story for the March 2023 "Esquire" magazine. YES FOLKS let me say that CHRIS PINE was a fine addition to that 2009 "Star Trek" film -{&}- he is humble with his interview in the March 2023 "Esquire" magazine titled "Chris Pine Rises Above It All."

Is it more fitting or ironic that this adaptation will come from the Game Night filmmakers? No matter. I just learned that CHRIS PINE stars in The Contractor, a 2022 action thriller film directed by Tarik Saleh in his English-language film debut. The rest of the cast includes BEN FOSTER, GILLIAN JACOBS, EDDIE MARSAN, J. D. PARDO, FLORIAN MUNTEANU, and KIEFER SUTHERLAND.
CHRIS PINE is a special forces sergeant who is involuntarily discharged from the Army and lands a contract with a private underground military force. When his very first assignment goes awry the elite soldier finds himself hunted, on the run, -{&}- getting caught in a dangerous conspiracy.
The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures and STXfilms, but had a simultaneous release in theaters -{&}- streaming availability on video-on-demand (VOD). It grossed $2.1 million at the box office -{&}- had mixed reviews yet praise for the cast.
