'He's Home!' Little Dog Missing From North Fork Found Safe
It's a happy ending: Walter is back home safe and sound in Mattituck, Gabby Stroup of The League animal shelter says.

MATTITUCK, NY — A little dog missing from Mattituck has been found safe.
According to Gabby Stroup, director of operations at The League, Southold's animal shelter, Walter, who went missing Friday, was found Sunday night. "He's home!" she said.
Stroup added: "He was trapped last night. His owner is on a plane right now back home."

Walter, a little Yorkie mix, went missing from his home in Sebastian Cove, in the Bailie Beach area.
His owner was traveling and was "frantic," at the news that her pup was missing. Someone was watching Walter when he accidentally got away, she said. But all is well and Walter is back, waiting for his joyful reunion with his owner, she said.
