Homeless Man Menaces Police Officer With Box Cutter: Cops
The man was arrested on Sunday, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A homeless man menaced a police officer with a box cutter Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 9:21 a.m. on Front Street in Greenport when Matthew Landin, 40, menaced Sgt. Scott Latham, 50, of the Southold Police Department with the box cutter.
Ladin was arrested and charged with second degree menacing:weapon, and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon: intent to use, police said.
