GREENPORT, NY — Throughout the new coronavirus crisis, front line health care workers have inspired with their dedication, courage and tireless fight to save lives.

But sometimes, they also know how to bust out the dance moves: Inspired by the efforts of their Stony Brook colleagues' counterparts, the heroes at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport decided to create their own dance video, "SBELIH Dance Break" to Bon Jovi's hit "Livin' On A Prayer."

The words resonate: "We've got to hold on to what we've got. . . We've got each other and that's a lot. . . We'll give it a shot. . . We're halfway there. Livin' on a prayer. Take my hand, we'll make it, I swear."

Staffers from every area in the hospital participated in the joyful dance video.

"That you to our health care workers for showing us your moves," creators of the video wrote. "This is how we do it, SBELIH style."
