'Howl-O-Ween' Pet Parade Slated For North Fork

Four-footed friends and their human owners can dress up for a day full of fun and a pet costume parade on the North Fork this Halloween.

PECONIC, NY — Four-footed friends will have a chance to don costumes for a Halloween pet parade on the North Fork.

Presented by the Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., located at 42155 Main Road in Peconic, the "Howl-o-ween Costume Parade" takes place on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. Registration begins at 1 p.m.

The day will include a contest for best dog costumes and dog/owner duo costumes with prizes along with treats for pups, food, and craft beer for humans, organizers said.
