All proceeds will go toward the continuing revitalization of the historic New Suffolk waterfront property, site of the first submarine base in the United States.
According to New Suffolk Waterfront Fund chair Patty Lowry, this year's delicious chowder was prepared by Grace & Grit Catering's executive chef Adam Kaufer and included a Long Island fish chowder "hybrid" that combined Boston influences — a creamy soup with a tomato and clam base.
