1 Injured In Crash Involving Suffolk County Transit Bus: PD
The crash took place in Greenport just before 3 p.m. Monday, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — One person sustained a minor injury in a crash between a bus and a motor vehicle in Greenport Monday afternoon, police said.
According to Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley, the crash took place at Main Street and Manor Place at 2:55 p.m. and involved a Suffolk County Transit bus and another vehicle; the injured person was taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital by ambulance, he said.
