Kait's Angels Hosts Bowl-O-Rama To Help Family After Tragedy

NORTH FORK, NY — Kait's Angels, an organization created to honor the memory of a young Mattituck woman lost too soon, will once again reach out to help a family in need on the North Fork.

Kait's Angels was created to keep the legacy of Kaitlyn Doorhy alive. Kaitlyn died when she was only 20 while away at college — but her love for the community and her deep-seated belief in giving back to others is celebrated through acts of kindness and fundraisers organized by the many who have come together to ensure that her beautiful spirit is remembered always.

To kick off a new year of giving back, Kait's Angels is hosting a Bowl-O-Rama on Thursday, Jan. 25 at the All Star in Riverhead.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the games begins at 7:30 p.m. A snow date is scheduled for Feb. 8.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Suzanne and Judd Lincoln of Mattituck, who lost their baby Claire recently, Darla Doorhy, Kait's mother, said.

"Please pray for this family," she said.

The event includes raffles, door prizes, and trophies. Music will be provided by DJ Beach 101.7.

The cost for the event is $25 per person and includes 2 games and shoes.
