Library Creates GoFundMe To Honor Baby Girl Lost Too Soon
"There are many broken hearts and members of the community grieving while trying to make sense of this heartbreaking tragedy."

MATTITUCK, NY — The Mattituck-Laurel Library has kicked off a GoFundMe to honor a baby girl lost too soon.
The page, "Claire's Corner," was created by Amanda Goodale to honor Claire Anne, the 14-month old daughter of Judd and Suzanne Lincoln, who died unexpectedly on Nov. 14.
"There are many broken hearts and members of the community grieving while trying to make sense of this heartbreaking tragedy," Goodale said. "Suzanne and Judd are passionate about their daughter Claire not being forgotten, so we as a community would like to honor their wishes."

The goal, according to the page, is to give the Mattituck-Laurel Library's toddler area a makeover.
"Our vision is to create an inviting, magical place for small children; a place encouraging exploration, reading and learning engagement — a place created and named in the loving memory of Claire Anne Lincoln," the page said.

Specifically, the goal is to create a new entryway marked in memoriam of Claire Anne Lincoln, incorporate innovative toddler seating, provide creative bookshelves, add an age appropriate interactive educational learning wall, and install new carpeting, Goodale continued.
Also, the page said, 100% of donations will be used to support the project.
Donations can be made either directly to the Mattituck-Laurel Library, PO Box 1437, Mattituck NY 11952 or on the GoFundMe page by clicking here.
