Local Musician Brady Rymer Receives Third Grammy Nomination

SOUTHOLD, NY — Fans of local musician Brady Rymer are hoping the third time's the charm: The beloved children's music man was nominated Tuesday for his third Emmy.

"We just got the news that 'Press Play' has been nominated for a Grammy award‚ and I am blown away. So proud of my band of buddies, and so thankful for their talents, trust and wholehearted dedication to the music. Here’s to the simple idea of a bunch of good friends hangin’ ‘round, sharing their hearts and making a lovely racket together. To know our music has a place in the lives of your kids and your family is sweeter than sweet.Cheers to all involved," Rymer wrote on Facebook.

Rymer is well known for the joyful children's music he creates and performs with the Little Band That Could.

After the nomination he thanked all involved with the project, as well as his wife Bridget and fellow nominees.

"It feels wonderful! We're blown away. Ecstatic! Grateful. Proud," he said.
