'For The Love Of Beer' Set For Greenport Harbor Brewing Company

PECONIC, NY — The Greenport Harbor Brewing Company is pulling out all the stops for a romantic Valentine's Day event designed to delight couples and singles alike.

"For the Love of Beer" takes place on Saturday, February 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the brewery's Peconic location at 42155 Main Road.

According to Betsy Liegey, marketing director, of the Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, the event features "all the things we love" under one roof.

And if you haven't got a date? No worries. There's enough love on tap for everyone.

"Valentine's Day is the day of love, but who says the only love to be celebrated is the one for a significant other?" a release for the event said.

The brewery's "non-traditional Valentine's event" includes its "amazing tap lineup," oysters, and live fireside music by New Life Crisis.

For those needing a gift, there will be an array of items for purchase includingg bouquets by True Elizabeth Flowers, locally handcrafted chocolates from Disset Chocolate, and jewelry from Joanne Stoecker Design.

East End Psychic will also be onhand for tarot card readings and psychic experiences.

Next up, the brewery's Annual North Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for March 6.
