Man Arrested After Pocket-Knife Stabbing At Greenport Gas Station: Police
He's facing a felony charge, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Greenport man was arrested after stabbing someone with a pocket knife during an altercation at a gas station, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the incident took place on June 19 at 4:29 p.m. at the Patriot Gas Station on Main Street in Greenport.
William Mokus, 33, stabbed a 34-year old man during the altercation; Mokus was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree assault, a felony, police said.

The man stabbed sustained a stab wound injury that required medical attention, police said.
Mokus was arrested without incident, processed at Southold Police headquarters, and held for arraignment, police said.
