Man Arrested On LI Had Large Amounts Of Fentanyl, Crack, Cocaine: PD
He resisted arrest when nabbed in Greenport Tuesday, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — A New York man was caught in Greenport Tuesday with large quantities of drugs, including fentanyl, crack, cocaine, and pills, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Maximilian Silem, 36, was arrested at 2:42 p.m. on Adams Street and charged with third-degree narcotic drug/intent to sell; criminal possession of a controlled substance, narcotics; fourth-degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug; resisting arrest; and executing a warrant of arrest.
The East End Drug Task Force, along with Southold Town police, said Silem had two active arrest warrants. Silem resisted arrest but was ultimately taken into custody and transported to Southold Town police headquarters for processing and held pending arraignment at Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
