Man Caught With Crack, Meth in Car During Route 48 Bust: Police
The Riverhead man, an alleged "erratic driver" was arrested on Route 48 heading into Greenport, police said.

GREENPORT, NY - A Riverhead man was caught with crack and meth and busted on Route 48 in Greenport, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Kevin Kumbatovich, 37, was arrested Sunday at 7:30 p.m. after officers responded to a call of an "erratic driver" heading east on Route 48 into Greenport in a green PT cruiser.
Officers located the vehicle in question and Kumbatovich was found to be the operator, and in possession of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana, police said.

Kumbatovich was arrested, charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, transported to police headquarters, processed and released for a later court date, police said.
