Man Caught With Heroin, 26 Hypodermic Needles: Cops
He was arrested in front of a North Fork supermarket, police say.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A Southold man was busted after he was caught with heroin and 26 hypodermic needles, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place on Monday at 9:09 p.m. on Route 25 in front of King Kullen in Cutchogue. Kyle VanDuzer, 33, was arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
VanDuzer was driving a vehicle eastbound along Route 25; the vehicle he was operating returned to a subject wanted for questioning regarding a larceny in the area, police said.

After police stopped the vehicle, VanDuzer was found to have a revoked license; a search of the vehicle revealed heroin, 26 hypodermic needles, and an open container of alcohol, police said. VanDuzer was placed under arrest and transported to Southold Town Police headquarters for processing, police said.
