Man Caught Speeding Drunk In Greenport: Cops
He was nabbed during a Stop-DWI Task Force Friday night, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — An Orient man was caught speeding drunk in Greenport, police said.
William Mokus, 25, was arrested on Nov. 24 at 1:21 a.m. on Route 25 in Greenport West and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1 percent of alcohol or greater, both misdemeanors, and speeding, a violation, Southold Town Police said.
Mokus was nabbed during a joint STOP-DWI Task Force deployment on Friday evening during saturated patrols conducted in Southold Town, police said.
