Man Charged With Assault After Greenport Attack: Police
He punched the man in the face and head, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Greenport resident was arrested after he attacked a man on the street, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident happened on Nov. 11 at 11:49 p.m. on Front Street. A 35-year-old Greenport resident was walking on the sidewalk and was attacked by Kelvin Euceda, 32, of Greenport Villa, police said.
Euceda punched him several times in the face and head area with a closed fist, causing a swollen left eye and a partially dislodged front tooth, police said.

The man refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Euceda was located in the parking lot on Adams Street and was arrested and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, police said. Euceda was transported to Southold Town Police headquarters for processing and held for arraignment, police said.
