Man Charged With Driving While Impaired By Drugs: Cops

MATTITUCK, NY — A Mattituck man was charged with driving on drugs in Riverhead, police said.

According to New York State Police, Anthony A. Holbrooke, 48, was arrested on April 26 at 11:14 p.m. on West Main Street after a traffic stop for vehicle and traffic violations; he was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, third, fifth, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Holbrooke was transported to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where he was processed and held for morning arraignment in Riverhead Justice Court, police said.
