Man Charged With Driving While Intoxicated In Mattituck: Cops
He was stopped for a traffic violation, police say.
MATTITUCK, NY — A 77-year old man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Mattituck, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Richard K. Collins, 77, was arrested on Sunday at 9:38 a.m. on Peconic Bay Boulevard and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Collins was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be intoxicated, police said. he was arrested and transported to Southold Town Police headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
