Man Charged In Drug Bust At His Greenport Home: Police

The arrest came after complaints from the community about illegal drug activity to and from his Greenport home, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Greenport man was arrested and charged in a drug bust after complaints of illegal drug activity and foot traffic to and from his home, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, Victor Colon, 48, was arrested on Thursday at 6 a.m. after the Suffolk County District Attorney's East End Drug Task Force, along with Southold Police detectives and a K-9 unit, and the Suffolk County Police Department's emergency services unit executed a search warrant at his Third Street home.

Colon was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drugs, intent to sell; two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, narcotics; and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, scales, police said.
