According to Southold Town Police, the first crash took place at 12:05 a.m. on Main Street in Greenport. Police said they received reports of an "erratic driver" who'd left the scene of the crash in the Claudio's parking lot. Before police arrived, the driver, Jason Mann, 40, in the same vehicle, a 2013 Ram 1500 pickup truck, struck a parked vehicle on Main Street and came to rest on the sidewalk, police said.

Mann was arrested and charged with DWI, first offense; aggravated DWI: per se-no prior; refusal to take a breath test; and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, police said.
