Man Charged With DWI After Southold Crash: Police
The crash took place Thursday afternoon, police say.
SOUTHOLD, NY — A Cutchogue man was charged with driving while intoxicated Thursday after a crash in Southold, police said.
Johan Jander, 46, was heading north on Sound Avenue at 3:30 p.m. when he crashed, Southold Town police said. He was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, no prior, and DWI, first offense, police said.
He was held for arraignment at Southold Town police headquarters, police said.
