Man Charged With Intent To Sell Fentanyl, Heroin, Cocaine: Police
He was found with the drugs on Shelter Island, police say.
SHELTER ISLAND, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested on Shelter Island Tuesday and charged after he was found with heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, police said.
According to Shelter Island Police, Thomas B. Roux, 38, was arrested at 11:14 a.m. and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; as well as two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance — heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl — with the intent to sell, police said.
He was held overnight and arraigned the following morning, police said. He was released on his own recognizance and is slated to appear in court at a later date, police said.
