Man Charged With Selling Alcohol To A Minor: Police

MATTITUCK, NY — A Mattituck cashier was charged with selling alcohol to a minor, police said.

On Wednesday, the New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted an underage drinker enforcement operation in Southold; during the operation, one retail establishment was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to an undercover state police operative under the age of 21, police said.

Robert Hansult, 63, of Riverhead, a cashier at Rich Harvest Wines and Liquors on Main Rd. in Mattituck, was arrested and charged with first degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

6.) 7-Eleven on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.

7.) Valero Food Mart on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.

8.) Peconic Liquors on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.

9.) Citgo Quik Mart on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.

10.) Gulf Mini-Mart on Rt. 25 in Southold

11.) Village Liquor Store on Main St. in Southold.
