Man Charged In Series Of Greenport Burglaries, Larcenies: PD
The burglaries and larcenies were reported at numerous locations across Greenport, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — A Shelter Island man was arrested and charged with a series of burglaries and larcenies across the village, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Thomas Ritzler, 52, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, illegal entry with intent; fourth-degree grand larceny; and several counts of petty larceny, police said.
The arrest came after several reports of burglaries and larcenies from numerous locations throughout the Village of Greenport, police said.

Ritzler was released on an appearance ticket with a future arraignment date, police said.
