Man Drove Drunk With 11-Month-Old Daughter in Car: Police
The man was charged with a DWI under Leandra's Law, police say.
A Greenport man was arrested for driving drunk with his 11-month-old daughter in his car in Laurel on Wednesday evening, according to Southold Town Police.
Police received a report of an erratic driving on Route 25 at about 5:34 p.m.
The driver, Julio Vasquez, 54, was stopped and found to be drunk, police said. He was arrested on a felony DWI charge under Leandra’s Law.

Vasquez was transported to headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.
