Man Found With Child Pornography At Southold Business: Cops

The man, who is facing 27 felony charges, and a fellow employee also stole $50,000 from the business, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A man employed by a Southold business was found with child pornography — and he and a colleague also stole $50,000 from their employer, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place on April 23 at 11 a.m. Southold Police detectives arrested Joseph Wolm, 42, of Mastic Beach, and Ernesto Martinez, 56, of Mastic Beach, after an investigation revealed that while they were employed at a Southold business, they stole more than $50,000 from the business, police said.

Wolm was found to be in possession of child pornography, police said. Police did not release the name of the business.

Both men were arrested after being indicted by a Suffolk grand jury, police said.

Wolm was charged with 25 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, second degree grand larceny and third-degree grand larceny, for a total of 27 felony charges.

Martinez was charged second degree grand larceny and third degree grand larceny, both felonies.

Both men were currently on parole for prior sex offenses.

They are to be arraigned Friday at Suffolk County Court, police said.
