Man Found Unresponsive On North Fork Beach: Police
Officials rushed to his aid, police say.
NORTH FORK, NY — A man was found unresponsive on a Cutchogue Beach recently, police said.
According to Southold Town police, a report came in on Feb. 5 at 11:29 a.m. about the man, 59, found in the area of the Pequash Club on West Road. Upon arrival, officers observed the man lying on the sand unresponsive, possibly from a medical emergency, police said.
Officers and Cutchogue Fire Department personnel began resuscitative efforts until a pulse was detected and the man began breathing on his own, police said.

Carlson was transported by the Cutchogue Fire Department to Peconic Bay Medical Center for further medical evaluation and treatment, police said.
