Man Hits Clerk, Corrections Officer, Customer in Face at Greenport 7-Eleven: Police
BREAKING: The man also kicked in the rear window of the police car, police said.
GREENPORT, NY — A man who was refused service at the Greenport 7-Eleven became "aggressive," striking a clerk, a corrections officer and a customer in the face before trying to resist arrest Thursday morning, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 6:21 a.m. Ryan Greenberg, 23, of Greenport, was charged with criminal mischief, a felony, as well as harassment and resisting arrest.
Greenberg became aggressive and struck a clerk in the face, police said.

Then, when an off duty Suffolk County Corrections Officer tried to intervene, Greenberg struck him in the face, and then pushed another women in the face while leaving the store, police said.
Greenberg was arrested and tried to resist arrest by fighting with responding officers, police said.

He was placed into custody and then, while being transported to Southold Police headquarters, Greenberg kicked in the rear passenger window of the marked police car, causing damage, police said.
Greenberg was then brought to police headquarters , where he was processed, police said.
