Man Nabbed Driving Drunk On Love Lane: Cops
He was charged with felony DWI due to a prior DWI conviction within 10 years— as well as drinking alcohol in the motor vehicle, police say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A Cutchogue man was arrested after he was caught driving drunk on Love Lane in Mattituck recently, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Andrew Watroba, 39, was arrested on Dec. 21 at 8:52 p.m. on Love Lane after he was observed driving a 2014 Ford Expedition on Route 25 and failing to yield the right of way to westbound traffic while making a lefthand turn north on Love Ln., police said.
Watroba was then observed failing to stop at a stop sign, police said.

Watroba was stopped, interviewed and determined to be intoxicated and placed under arrest, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, previous DWI conviction within 10 years, a felony; first degree aggravated unlicensed operation; driving without a license; failure to yield right of way, left turn; failure to stop at a stop sign; moving from lane unsafely; refusal to take a breath test, and drinking alcohol in the motor vehicle, police said.
Watroba was transported to Southold Town Police Department where he was processed and held to await arraignment at Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
